Kumroj Village Development Commi Ʃ ee (VDC) lies in Dun Valley of Chitwan District in Bu ff er Zone of Chitwan Na Ɵ onal Park (CNP). There are 1,750 households in the VDC with 8,082 people of various caste and ethnicity comprising of indigenous Tharu and Darai communi Ɵ es along with hill migrants. Majority of the people are dependent on subsistence agriculture and on forest resources to ful fi ll their livelihood needs.
