Today, 31 July, NTNC welcomed the recently appointed Minster for Forests and Environment Hon. Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri at its central office.
The occasion was led by the NTNC Chairperson Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli, accompanied by its Board Member Dr. Shambu Dangal and Member Secretary Dr. Naresh Subedi.
At the meeting, an introduction about NTNC’s work, impact areas and collaborative efforts with the government was briefed by NTNC Director Dr. Chiranjibi Prasad Pokharel.
Interactions were focused on existing priorities underway, on conservation area regulation revision targets, the zoo’s future management and prospecting preparations, new projects and strategies for expanding result areas, and the leadership and cooperation of the ministry.
The Hon. Minister noted the important role of NTNC for the nation, committing to do his part to add to its success and value.
