A veterinary workshop titled "Regional Tiger, Asian Rhino and Elephant Veterinary Workshop 2018" is being conducted at NTNC’s Biodiversity and Conservation Center (NTNC-BCC) in Sauraha, Chitwan in Nepal from February 5 to 8. During the event, delegates from twelve countries – Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Thailand, UK, USA, Vietnam – will present and exchange about wildlife veterinary issues focusing on tiger, rhino and elephant. More than 30 scientific papers on veterinary care practiced in each of the participating countries are expected to be presented by experts throughout the four day schedule.

The workshop is being organized by NTNC and Agriculture and Forestry University (AFU) in collaboration with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation (DNPWC) and Asian Elephant Support. Financial support for the event comes from US Fish and Wildlife Service, Hariyo Ban Program and ZSL Nepal.
