On 29 May 2024, NTNC welcomed and hosted the recently appointed Secretary of the Ministry of Forests and Environment, Dr. Govinda Prasad Sharma, at its central office.
The event was led was led by the NTNC Chairperson Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli, accompanied by Board Members, Dr. Bijay Kumar Singh Danuwar and Dr. Shubh Narayan Mahato.
Dr. Naresh Subedi, the Officiating Member Secretary of NTNC, made a brief presentation highlighting NTNC’s work.
At the interactions, some of the priority areas requiring the ministry’s facilitation and guidance were also discussed.
The MOFE Secretary Dr. Sharma, spoke of his appreciation for NTNC's work and shared his commitment to further enhance its contribution.
Welcoming the new MOFE Secretary to the NTNC Board, Chairperson Dr. Oli thanked the ministry leadership for its continued cooperation and support.
