The National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) briefed U.S. Senator Todd Young about its ongoing conservation initiatives and U.S. supported programs during his visit to Nepal. Discussions mainly focused on biodiversity conservation, wildlife protection, ecological monitoring, and community-based conservation efforts. His visit to NTNC’s Biodiversity Conservation Center, Chitwan and field inspections provided an opportunity to exchange views on strengthening cooperation to combat wildlife trafficking and other transnational crimes. The discussions also explored ways to work together for advancing environmental protection and sustainable development in Nepal.
