Dr. Naresh Subedi has been officially appointed as the new Member Secretary of NTNC, effective from 27 June 2024.
Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli, Chairperson of NTNC, formally made the appointment during a ceremony held today at the NTNC central office, which was also attended by NTNC's staff.
At the ceremony, Chairperson Dr. Oli, said that a new precedent was being set, and that he was confident that his decision would open NTNC to greater possibilities and goodwill.
Thanking the NTNC chairperson for entrusting him with the important responsibility, Member Secretary Dr. Subedi shared his commitment to fulfill NTNC's mission, vision and values, and to lead the institution to newer heights.
Dr. Subedi is a reputed academic publisher, wildlife biologist and conservation planner, with over 25 years of professional conservation experience. Before becoming member secretary he was NTNC's director of programmes.
