The National Trust for Nature Conservation successfully concluded its 75th Meeting of the Governing Board of Trustees on Thursday. Held in a hybrid format with both in-person and virtual participation, the meeting was chaired by the Hon'ble Minister for Agriculture, Forests, and Environment, Gita Chaudhary.
During the meeting, NTNC Member-Secretary Dr. Chiranjibi Prasad Pokheral presented the institution's annual progress, highlighting key achievements and strategic priorities for this fiscal year.
The Governing Board approved NTNC's annual programmes and budget for the new fiscal year. The approved programmes provide an action-oriented roadmap to further strengthen wildlife conservation, safeguard Nepal's rich biodiversity, and enhance climate resilience through sustainable natural resource management and community-based conservation initiatives.
