The NTNC Governing Board of Trustees have concluded its 65th board meeting successfully. The meeting was convened on 13-14 July with the main agenda to approve the NTNC Budget for the new fiscal year 2079-80. In the process NTNC's programme and financial performance of the outgoing Nepali fiscal year 2078-79 was also reviewed, along with proposals and ideas discussed for the new fiscal year, which commences from 17 July 2022.
Chairperson of NTNC Dr Krishna Prasad Oli chaired the two-day meeting. Board members in attendance included the Secretary of the Ministry of Forests and Environment Dr Pem Narayan Kandel, Secretary of the Ministry of Culture,Tourism and Civil Aviation Mr Maheshwor Neupane, Dr Shambu Prasad Dangal, Dr Shubh Narayan Mahato, Dr Bijay Kumar Singh Danuwar, Ms Swati Thapa, and Ms Rekha Ghimire, alongside the NTNC Member Secretary Mr Sharad Chandra Adhikary.
NTNC's approved budget for the fiscal year 2079-80 is NPR 901 million.
