Yesterday, a problematic adult female tiger was successfully rescued from Thakurbaba Municipality, Ward No. 2, which lies in the buffer zone of Bardiya National Park.
Rescue efforts of the conflict tiger was pursued for almost one full month by NTNC’s technical team and park officials.
Last month, the same tiger took a women’s life, who was attacked while grazing her cattle.
The rescued tiger is now under medical care and will soon be relocated to a safer habitat.
